Wendy Annabelle Moore, 51, of Cochranville, passed away on Thursday, March 5th, 2020, peacefully in her home. She was the high school sweetheart, best friend, and wife of 31 years to her beloved husband, Stuart Michael Moore. As Mike put it, it was love at first sight; their 32nd wedding anniversary is March 26th.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Wendy was the daughter of late Joan (MacInnes) and Jim Hollingsworth.

She was a graduate of Unionville High School, class of 1986.

Wendy loved her cats, her dog Dakoda, crafting, cooking, and working in her flower and vegetable gardens. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her husband, whether it was at home, or taking trips to the Jersey Shore, or hunting for fossils.

Wendy’s wild and free spirit left lasting impressions on everyone that was lucky enough to know her. Her contagious laughter and unmeasurable sense of humor will be missed the most.

In addition to her husband, Wendy is survived by her two children: Justin Moore, husband of Stevie, of Abington; and Courtney Ross, wife of Rick, of Coatesville. She had one grandchild; and a recently discovered half-brother, Brian Hunt.

In accordance with Wendy’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.

To help offset the arrangement costs, the family asks in lieu of flowers to please consider donating to a GoFundMe account that can be accessed by clicking HERE.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg. Online condolences can be posted at: www.wildefuneralhome.com
