Miriam "Mim" Green, 92, of Gap, passed away on Thursday, March 5th, 2020 under the care of Newport Meadows of Christiana.  She was the beloved widow of the late Herman Green with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage.

Miriam worked at Bell Telephone as a switchboard operator and as a cafeteria cook at Paxon Hollow School.

She enjoyed traveling and dancing with her husband.  She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed crafting, crocheting, and caring for her cat, "Sadie."  Mim was known for her pickled cucumber, pepper relish and cherry cheesecake.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Capper of Gap, her son Richard Green, husband of Marcella, of Conroe, Texas; granddaughters Betsy Geary, wife of John of Nottingham and April Capper of Gap; and her great-granddaughter, Breanna Geary of Nottingham.

Miriam and Herman will be buried together at Indiantown Gap VA National Cemetery.

Arrangements by Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.
