Gary Bruce Wallace, age 64 of Gap, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at his home surrounded by family and friends. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Elmer H. Wallace Sr.  and Eleanor M. Mullen Wallace. In his free time, Gary enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and had an immense love for Marilyn Monroe. Most importantly Gary always had fun, loved making people laugh and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his 2 children: Kevin Wallace, husband of Susan Wallace of Paradise, Kyle Wallace of Atglen, 2 sisters Lillian Gill and Paula Hall, 4 grandchildren Kayla Bowman, wife of Scott Bowman, Kellie Wallace, Kylie Wallace and Samantha Gehman, wife of Matthew Gehman, and 2 great-grandchildren Mikayla and Sophia Gehman. He was preceded in death by his brother Elmer “Buddy” H. Wallace Jr.

Funeral service will take place at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St, Parkesburg, PA 19365, on Monday, September 23rd at 11 a.m. with a viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Pequea Presbyterian.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Gary’s memory to Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.

Gary was a good friend it was so nice having him as a neighbor he always treated me with kindness and he always cared about people he will be missed RIP my friend you are in Gods hands now

Sending my condolences to Gary's family. Gary was a classmate of mine, he was friend to those of us that were easy targets for the Bullies. He was the one who would stick up for us & try to protect us no matter what it would cost him. He was a blessing and true friend through and through. If you needed someone on your side he was the man, I am truly sorry that I didn't stay connected with him over the years, perhaps I could have paid him back in some small way.

My heartfelt condolences go to Gary's family at this time of need,  He was a fun loving person who liked to laugh and had a huge heart.  He always talked about how he loved his family, and it makes my heart rejoice that all of you stood by him until the end.  I am very proud of all of YOU, and I know that GOD is, too.  GOD BLESS, LOVE ALWAYS,
