Fr. Lorenz and his wife gave me two (I missed out on a third!) of the finest students I ever taught at Coatesville High School, products of a fine home and a source of great, justified pride to their parents who left behind to all their teachers only good memories.

My wife Judy joins me in offering our sincere sympathy to Joan, her children, and all the Lorenz family.

Joan, Chris & all,
We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Rev. Lorenz. He was quite a man and he will be remembered and missed by everyone who had the privledge to know him. Although we got to see him probably once, maybe twice a year, he left a meaningful impression on me and my family. His little journals are the reason my glass strength increased over the years.
Again my deepest sympathy, he will surely be missed!

Patrick Phillips and family
