Z. Sharon Taylor, 64, of Honey Brook, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. She was the widow of the Robert W. Taylor, Jr. who died in 2012. born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Zay and Laura Ellen Hooper DeHaven. 

Sharon was a County resident all her life. She was self employed as a professional cleaner.

She is survived by by three children; Marjorie E., wife of Richard Iorio of Morgantown, PA, Robert W. Taylor, III and wife Nicole of Ronks, PA  and Steven W. Taylor and wife Billie of Honey Brook, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and five siblings; Marge Diener, Ellen Thompson, Theda DeHaven, Kelly DeHaven and Gideon DeHaven. She was preceded in death by one brother Zay DeHaven.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11 AM from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg followed by interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery. Viewing from 9 to 11 AM.

Midge, Bobby and Stevie I am so sorry for your loss. She was an amazing woman. She will be missed and loved forever. She was a wonderful Aunt. I'm so glad that I got to have her in my life as such. RIP Aunt Sherry. I love you all

Please accept my sincere condolences during this time of grief. My hope is that the words of Christ Jesus be of comfort, when he stated that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" (John 5: 28, 29). We can also take comfort in God's personal promise to "wipe out every tear" and that soon, even "death will be no more" (Revelation 21: 4).
