I was honored to have a nice conversation with Mr. Ronnie about a month ago when I told him who I was.  He told me some interesting things about my family (The Bates Family) that I never knew and I was so grateful to hear some things concerning my family, since most of them are gone.  My condolences to the London and Lavender families.  My thoughts and my prayers are with all of you.  God Bless!!

To the Family:

We extend our heart-felt sympathy to all of you.  Be encouraged in knowing that Ronnie is no longer sick and suffering.  Your family and ours spent many years as next door neighbors in Parkesburg.  With that closenes, there was and remains a special bond between us.  The last time I spoke with Ronnie was at the Family Reunion.  He will surely be missed with the upcoming Reunion, but know that in spirit..... he will be with you.  Our thoughts and prayers are sent to you, and may Ronnie, a special guy, "rest in peace".

From Bonnie

Also, Beverly, Tidy and Chotty
