Robert S. Rambo, 97, of Spring City, PA, formerly of Parkesburg, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Southeastern PA Veteran's Center in Spring City. He was the beloved husband of Joyce Crabbs Rambo with whom he shared 67 years of marriage. Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Walter S. and Bertha MacNeal Rambo. 

Bob was a Chester County resident most of his life. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII in the European Theater obtaining the rank of Captain. After the war, he owned and operated Rambo's Flowers in Parkesburg and later he was employed by Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square. 

Bob was an active member of the Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church where he served, down through the years, as Elder, Trustee, choir member and Sunday School teacher. He was also a member of the Lancaster Muzzleloaders Assoc., served on the Octorara Area School Board and he was a member of the Lions Club International.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two children; Karen Rubert and husband William of Malvern and Robert G. Rambo and wife Linda of York, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister Marjorie Rambo.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church, 1121 Octorara Trail, Parkesburg, PA followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing, visitation at the church from 2:00 - 3:00 PM.
