Richard P. "Chipper" Heisler, Jr., of Downingtown, died on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Julia M. Boik with whom he shared two and a half years of marriage. Born in West Chester, he was the son of Richard P. Heisler, Sr. and Lois Beideman Heisler of Wagontown. 

Chipper was an area resident all his life and a 1998 graduate of the Coatesville Area High School. He was employed locally as a landscaping crewleader. 

He is survived, in addition to his wife and parents, by one brother Steven Heisler of Wagontown, paternal grandmother Margie Huffman of Coatesville and one niece Isabella Heisler.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Hibernia United Methodist Church,  220 Hibernia Road, Coatesville, PA with a viewing at the church from 9:30 AM to the time of the service.  Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg, PA.  Online condolences can be posted at www.wildefuneralhome.com

To the family of Chip.  I have known him for many years and worked with him at Giant at a young age.  He was always such a bright and happy person and was able to connect with him again on Facebook.  I am sadden by the news but know he is looking over us all!

I've known Chip for decades. He and my husband were childhood friends and grew up together. He's been a great friend since I've known him. Always willing to give a helping hand. He will truly be missed. My condolences to his family. We love you
