Phyllis Angell, 82, of Gap, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Twin Pines Health Care Center.  She was the husband of the late Raymond Angell, with whom she shared 33 years of marriage.

Born in Johnstown, Colorado, Phyllis was the daughter of the late Pauline Sterkle and Clyde W. Case.  An area resident for the past six years, Phyllis was a member of the West Grove United Methodist Church.  

She was employed by Pyles Lumber Yard of Avondale as a clerk.

Phyllis is survived by her four children: Anthony Lombardozzi, husband of Carol, of Hummelstown, Karen Barnatny (and Calvin Suggs) of Felton, DE, Phyllis March, wife of Jesse, of Parkesburg, Susan Lombardozzi of Gap and Henry "Butch" Lombardozzi; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and siblings, Shirley Shields of Englewood, Co. and Clyde William Case of Bradwood, Illinois.

The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg with viewing from 10 until 11 AM.  Interment be held on December 29th at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Condolences

I was sorry to hear of Phyliss's passing.  I worked with her for many years at Pyles.  I have many fond memories of Ray and Phyliss and had lost touch with her when she moved from West Grove.  My thoughts a nd prayers are with her family.
