Patricia Elizabeth Groce McKee, 79, of Coatesville, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, September 7th, 2015 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester following a 5 year courageous battle with cancer.  

She was the widow of William Glenn McKee who passed away on March 15, 2014 with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.  

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Townsend (Tiny) and Mildred Walker Groce. 

Mrs. McKee attended Coatesville Area Schools and Lutheran Church.  She was a member of the West End Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary serving as President for many years and she was a member of the Polish American Club Auxiliary.  Also, Mrs. McKee was an Avon Representative for over 40 years.  

She was employed as a clerk and cashier, retiring from Brandywine Hospital.  

Mrs. McKee is survived by her daughter, Catherine E. McKee of Coatesville with whom she lived with; daughter Judith Ann Killian, wife of Joseph, of Coatesville and daughter-in-law Bonnie J. McKee of Morgantown; brother Edwin F. Groce; grandchildren Ian Todd Shafer of LaPlata, MD, Christopher Michael Pluck of Parkesburg, Amanda Lynn McKee of Morgantown, Todd McKee Reese, currently serving in the US Army; great grandchildren, Sierra Rose, Christopher Michael (C.J.), Savannah, Karson, Kaydence, Camaro, Sophie, Kyra, Dylan; and one great, great grandson Axton.

She was preceded in death by a son, William Douglas McKee in 1993, a grandson, Brian E. Pluck in 2006 and her sister Shirley A. Killinger. 

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 12th at 11 AM at Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery, 2237 Strasburg Rd, Coatesville, PA 19320.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wilde Funeral Home to help offset the cost the funeral or Neighborhood Hospice, 400 E. Marshall St., West Chester, Pa. 19382.
