Mildred H. Neal, 92, of Parkesburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Lancaster General Hospital. She was the widow of the late Clair G. Neal who died in 2002. They shared 52 years of marriage together. Born in Manheim, PA she was the daughter of the late Elias and Anna Frysinger Hornburger. 

Mildred was lived and worked on the family dairy farm beside her husband and family for close to 70 years. In her younger years she enjoyed square dancing. Most ofall, she enjoyed working with her family.

She was a member of the Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church, the Honey Brook Grange and she volunteered with the 4H program.

 She is survived by one son Jerry C. Neal and wife Debra of Parkesburg, one Grandson Wesley Neal of Parkesburg and one sister Arlene Martin of Manheim. She was preceded in death by four siblings; Clarence, Shirley and Arthur Hornburger and Irene Beachy.

 Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 11:00 am from the Upper Octorara United Presbyterian Church, 1121 Octorara Trail, Parkesburg, PA 19365. Viewing and visitation at the church from 10:00am to 11:00am. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Upper Octorara United Presbyterian Church at the above address.

To: ALL The Neals:  Aunt Berthan and Mildred were more lik Sisters.  They  shared an apartment in Lancaster for a few years. Although I will miss Millie Aunt Bertha will really miss her.  No one can know how all of you feel.  All we do know that you have and empty spot in your heart now.  Will it get better.  In Time.  We have been there for Craig and we know that it still hearts even though it has been 6 years.  God has his way of touching your hearts and giving you the strength you need.  Know that he is there for you.  All our Love  Aunt Bertha and Uncle Roy
