Margaretta Apgar, 90, of Parkesburg, passed away on Thursday, May 26th, under the care of Tel Hai Retirement Community.  She was the widow of Paul V. Apgar, who passed away in 1980 after they had shared 35 years of marriage.  

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Basilius and Anna Kanawal Kopple.  She had worked at the former Mammarella Sewing Factory of Coatesville.  

She is survived by five children: Linda Werner, Gloria Reffuse, Paul M. Apgar, husband of Debra, Robert C. Apgar, husband of Kathleen, and Patrick Apgar; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 2nd, 2016 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Consolation Church,  603 W 2nd Ave, Parkesburg, PA 19365, followed by interment in Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery.  The visitation will be at the Church from 10 until 11 AM.

Linda and Family. We would like to offer our condolences at this time for the passing of your mother.You were so good to your mom and she knew it. Keep all those precious memeories of her alive. Thats what will give you the strength to get through this.I will always remember those few times when you and your mom and me and my dad would go to bingo at the catholic church. How precious our parents are. God bless your family.
