Kathryn J. Newman, 73, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Lancashire Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lancaster, PA. Born in Elkton, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles I. McWilliams, Sr. and Donna K. Westren McWilliams.

Kathryn was an area resident most of her life and a graduate of the former Scott Senior High School in Coatesville. She was employed by Penquin Industries of Sadsburyville. 

She is survived by three sons; Ronald Newman of Ronks, Donald Newman of Denver, PA and Daniel Newman of Coatesville, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and four siblings; Charles I. McWilliams, Jr. and Richard L. McWilliams both of Honey Brook, Shirley Zynn and Sharon Cox both of Kinzers.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 11:30am at the 1st Baptist Church of Pequea Cemetery, 6062 Old Philadelphia Pike, Gap, PA 17527.

Dear Family and Friends,

I was deeply saddened by the news of Kay's passing.  It was my sincere pleasure to have had the privilege of working with Kay, her son Ron and her sister Sharon at Penguin Industries for many years.  Kay was a wonderful person and always willing to help anyone that needed assistance.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this sad time.

I worked with Kay for a lot of years and she was always a very sweet lady. She was a friend I often talked to at Penguins. I am sorry to hear of her passing and know God will have a place for her. We are the same age and had a lot of laughs at work during breaks. I haven't seen her for years but will still miss her. Blessing to her family.

I also knew kay from the few years i worked at penquins...she always had a smile n was always willing to help....i like my mother (susie) had not seen her in many years but she will Always be Remembered...
