Joseph E. Olsav

Joseph E. Olsav, 79, of Coatesville, went home peacefully on February 12th to be with his Lord and Savior after a long battle with cancer. Born in Freeland, PA, he was the son of John and Cecelia Olsav. He is survived by his wife Barbara of 44 years, his sons, David and Paul John, daughter, Deborah (Olsav) Holmes, six grandchildren, two brothers, John M. and Bernard of DE, sisters Mary Royan of FL and Wanda Gillespie of DE and many family and friends.

Joseph was a graduate of Freeland High, Freeland, PA and he retired from Netzsch Inc., Exton in 2002. He proudly served his Country in the US Army as a Specialist 1st Class Corporal. 

He was a member of the Lucians Catholic Group and belonged to the Polish American Club. He was an avid baseball player, loved bowling, reading and golf and enjoyed traveling and spending time outdoors.

 Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA. Viewing and visitation from 10 to 11am.
