It's been an honor to have Jim as a brother and friend. In the years I've known him, he became someone I thoroughly enjoyed being with. We talked about the Lord, about family and friends, and sports. What always was shared at the core of our conversation was that he loved Jesus, who made such a great difference in his life. As we talked, what I especially appreciated about Jim was his being genuine, authentic, and sincere. Whatever we were talking about, it seemed clear where Jim stood. Sometimes we disagreed. But when we did, we'd have coffee or lunch together, usually at Miss Oxford's Diner, and talk. We'd not only discuss our difference, we'd express our respect and love for one another as brothers in Christ. He would tell me that he was glad to have me as a friend, and I'd let him know I felt the same. I will always treasure those memories, and the special friend I call "Coach." He may have "slipped out" during the seventh inning stretch, but we'll meet up after the game, and catch up during eternity, together worshipping our Lord.

I am so sorry for the passing of Jim. He was always like a dad to me. The many years of coaching me in baseball to the life lessons he taught me. I can never repay the feeling of Jim and Donna allowing me to be the adopted son of the family and all the vacations and mountain trips and family functions that I was so graciously allowed to go on with the family. I will forever have a heavy heart with the passing of Jim.

                                                                                                                                            Forever loved

I am saddened by Jim's passing and my heart goes out to Donna, Ryan, Jimmy and the rest of the family. The Anderson's gave me some of my favorite childhood memories. Baseball, of course, was always at the top of the list but there was always swimming in the pool playing tag in the back alley, the list goes on and Jim was always larger than life to me and treated us Rash's like his own family. Even if it meant we needed a swift kick in the butt. I will be forever grateful for that. RIP Jim. You will be missed.

Jim was more than a brother to me, he was like a dad.  He taught me how to play baseball, softball, how to hunt and fish.  I'll always remeber the vacations to the beach, the mountains, the cruises, the picinics and playing ball.  Most of all i'll miss picking up the phone and talking to him about the Phillies and Eagles.  Rest in Peace my brother, I'll never forget you and I will think of you every day!  You will always be in my heart!    Doug

Dear Donna, Jimmy, Ryan and the rest of the family.  Jim was such a sweet man.  I always appreciated your friendship to my mom and dad.  My dad thought the world of him and still goes to call him.  He misses his "brother in Christ" everyday. I am so thankful for Jim's testimony and his love for Jesus. There is no doubt in my mind that he is walking the streets of Gold waiting for Henry to come talk baseball and Nascar with him. We love you guys and are praying for God to wrap his loving arms around you during your time of loss.  May God comfort and bless you now and in the future.  Love Always, Franny
