Fred W. Pepperday, 83 of Honey Brook, PA, died on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Joy Phillips Beveridge Pepperday and the late Evelyn Quick. 

Born in Philipsburg, PA he was the son of the late Walter and Hattie Daughenbaugh Pepperday.

Fred resided in Philipsburg and Fairless Hills, PA before retiring to Honey Brook, PA. He served honorably in the US Navy and was employed at Rockview State Penitentiary as a corrections officer and he also worked for the Pennsbury School District. 

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his children, Debbie Havens of Pleasant Gap, PA, Robin Hawk and fiance' Bob Mahler of Fairless Hills, PA, William H. Beveridge of Levittown, PA and Jodi and her husband, Chris Lauersen of Levittown, PA, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, two siblings, Beverly, wife of Robert Thomas, Rodney Pepperday and wife Sandy and sister in law, Joann Pepperday wife of the late Charles Pepperday, all of Philipsburg, PA.  He was preceded in death by his two younger brothers, Walter and Franklin.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Tel-Hai Chapel, 1200 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook, PA 19344 with visitation from 1pm until time of service at 2pm. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Tel-Hai Care Assurance Fund, P.O. Box 190 Honey Brook, PA 19344.
