Earl Robert Beecher, 66 of Conway SC, passed away on October 10, 2013 at the VA Hospital, Charleston SC after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Marlene M. Stoltzfus Beecher. 
 
Born August 23, 1947 in Coatesville PA, he was the son of the late Earl James Beecher and Elizabeth Moore Beecher, Brandamore PA.
 
He was a graduate of Coatesville Area High School. He served in the US Army as a medic and received the Army Commendation Medal for heroism in the Republic of Vietnam 1-31-1968.
 
He was employed by Quebecor Printing Company in Parkesburg PA for 28 years and recently retired from Pauley’s Island Glass Company in Conway SC.
 
He was a member of the VFW and the Ephrata Area of Vietnam Veterans.
 
He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed his hunting cabin he also enjoyed reading and the outdoors.  Robert was a loving husband and father dedicated to his family and lived his life to the fullest.
 
In addition to his widow, he is survived by two sons: Thomas Beecher, of Millersville; Jason S. Beecher, of Columbia; a daughter Tamara E. wife of Scott Musgrave, Charleston SC.
He is also survived by four grandchildren; two brothers: Ronald Beecher husband of Shirley Thorndale; Richard Beecher husband of Karen, Honeybrook; and a sister: Dottie Ann Cook of Downingtown.
 
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10 to 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to your family. I know the pain of losing a dear loved one also. I would like to please share a few scriptures with you that have brought me comfort during these times.

Rev 21:4- "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

 Acts 24:15-" And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."

 Also please remember to throw your burdens on Jehovah (Psalms 55:22) Because he is the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4)
