Barbara L. Hughes, 74, formerly of Parkesburg, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Brandywine Hall.  She was the widow of the late Clayton E. Hughes, who passed away in 2005 after they had shared 47 years of marriage together.

Born in Coatesville, Barbara was the daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy (Parker) Cozzone.  

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Parish of Coatesville.  

Barbara was retired from CHI where she worked in Accounts Receivable.  

She is survived by her beloved children: Sharon L., wife of Timothy Caldwell of Honey Brook, Catherine A. wife of Robert Townsend of Lancaster, Mark A. Hughes and wife Stephanie of Parkesburg, Stephanie Murray of Drexel Hill, and Christin Quick of New York; thirteen grandchildren, a bunch of great grandchildren and siblings Dorothy Jean, Marvin, John Henry, George, Carl and Larry.  

She was predeceased by her son Harold E. Hughes, II.  

The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 23rd at 11:00 AM from the Wilde Funeral Home 434 Main St., Parkesburg with visitation from 10 until 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Millwood Mennonite Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's memory to BTGOG, PO Box 11334, Takoma Park, MD 20913.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Barbara.  I cannot attend the services because of a death in our family, Mary Sabocsik) and her services are the same day.
