 Barbara Ann O'Brien, 77, of Parkesburg, died on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Hickory House Nursing Home, Honey Brook, PA. Born in Modena, she was the daughter of the late William James O'Brien and Cora Ruth Cox.
Barb was an area resident all her life and a 1957 graduate of the Coatesville Area High School.  

She was employed as a domestic for over 50 years and she helped bartend at the Parkesburg and Downingtown VFW Posts. 
Her hobbies included spending time with her family, needlework and reading.

She is survived by four children; Jon Pugh and wife Sheri of Leola, Glenn Pugh of Parkesburg, Patty, wife of Rick Alexander of Strasburg, and Sharon, wife of Mike Forry of Rheinholds, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one infant daughter Darcy Pugh and her ex husband Mr. Lester Pugh.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11:00am at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10 to 11:00am.
