Elsie Elizabeth Henry, 74, of East Fallowfield passed away at home on Sunday May 26, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Ralph James Henry Sr., with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. 

Born in East Fallowfield Township, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Wertz Sr. and Lavania Adams Wertz. 

Elsie was a graduate of Octorara High School and went on to obtain her Certified Nursing Assistant Diploma. She served as a CNA at the Veterans Administration of Coatesville for over 23 years before retiring. Elsie was an avid reader of fiction and enjoyed watching HGTV and Crime Shows. She cherished time spent with her family and also enjoyed crossword puzzles and fishing with her husband. 

Elsie is survived in addition to her husband by four children; Ralph J. Henry Jr. and wife Bobbie of Quarryville, Lisa Bell and husband John of Sadsburyville, Rodney Senter and wife Mereda of Coatesville, and Glen Senter and wife Brenda of Highland Township. Additionally she is survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM on Thursday May 30, 2019 at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA 19365. A visitation period will take place from 2 PM until the start of the service. An interment service will directly follow at Friendship Methodist Cemetery.
