Frederick John Evans, of Todd, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at The Lutheran Home in Hollidaysburg, PA surrounded by his loved ones. He was the beloved husband of Margaret L Evans (Lawrence) with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, PA on July 22, 1941, he was the son of the late Frederick L. Evans and Amelia Baldwin Mackey. 

He is survived by four daughters: Diana Ripka (John), Cheryl Galowitch (Dan), Kathy Oberheim, Jeanette Evans; four grandchildren: Stephanie, Emily, David, Carrie and three great grandchildren: William, Michael and Jessica. He was preceded in death by his brother Gregory Evans.

He was employed by Lukens Steel Company for 38 years. He was a gunsmith and enjoyed shooting, hunting, and fishing. He was a craftsman and enjoyed woodworking.

A memorial service will be held at Beavertown Bible Church in Todd, PA on Saturday, October 27, 2018 visitation beginning at 10am with a service at 11am. 

A memorial service will also be held at Wilde Funeral Home in Parkesburg on Saturday, December 1st, 2018, visitation beginning at 1pm with a service at 2pm.
