I was very stunned and sad to hear the news about Skeets earlier this week. He was a great boss and very influential in my career development.  He has my utmost respect and gratitude, and I'm very glad I reached out to him the day he retired to let him know that.

To Nancy and Lindsey ... I never met either one of you, but my heart is with you as you say goodbye to your husband and father.

Skeets was a great friend the we are going to miss, I think the hardest part of losing someone, isn't having to say goodbye, but rather learning to live without them. Always trying fill the void, the emptiness that's left inside your heart when they go.
