I knew John by way of his lovely daughter (Sherri Dorsheimer, who is married to my best friend Steve).  In all my travels, it is rare to come across such a down home and compassionate man.  He loved his community (especially the Keystone Valley Fire Company) but more importantly his deeply loved his wife and his wonderful family.  I remember so clearly doing various 5K's for charity and there was John, providing support and cheering us all to the finish line.  I can honesty say, my life was enriched because of John Ford.  If I am fortunate to make it to the other side, I surely hope he will be waiting and sharing his smile and eager to show me the ropes.  Bless you John and don't worry, we will take care of your lovely bride Gloria!!!!!!!

Sympathy and prayers extended to the Ford Family in the loss of their loved one.  John was a friendly neighbor toward our parents the late  William & Clara Harris and their late son-in-law Gary Miller.   He was friendly and always engaged in conversation, regardless of the topic.  John always  kept his property in tip-top shape and enjoyed maintaining it as such.  We are sure he will be missed by neighbors on Main Street and the adjacent  areas.

Sorrowfully submitted: Chotty Harris-Miller (wife of Gary) and the Harris Family

Main Street will not be the same without John.  You could always count on his smiling face and his friendly personality.  He will be greatly missed.
