Condolences

Hi Peggy,  Thinking today of the memories of outings that we had at your home with your Mom and Dad.

Especially one youth group party for halloween in your basement, I don't know who put it all together but it was incredible.

Your Dad lived a good long life.

My prayer for you today is that the Lord comfort you and keep His arms around you as you go thru this time.

Blessings,  Jane

Dear Janie,

I hope all is well with you and you family.

Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers--they keep us going day by day.  I think you're right---Dad did have a good long life.  He was relatively well until near the end, though I'm not sure how oriented he was to what was going on.  .  He lived at Heatherwood for several years after Mom died, but was lonely there, so John Mark and his wife took him to Slate Run in Lycoming County to live with them.  They had remodeled an old house that Dad and Mom bought a long time ago as a summer hideout, so it was familiar territory. Especially, he was able to watch the wildlife at night, he had his own little "suite" and TV.  He had several very good years with them, until he started falling.  They were referred to Susque-view in Lock Haven--a beautiful new retirement home with a fantastic garden atrium.  He said, "Well if you have to be in a place, this is a pretty good place to be."  They took good care of him, and he liked the food there.  He seemed content

It's so good to hear from you!  I have fond memories of the time we spent at camp, and in Youth Group and choir.  I drive by your house occasionally and think of you.

Love, Peggy

So sorry to hear about Harold's passing.  My dad (Don Kellon) thought the world of him and very much enjoyed working with him at Butlers.  I remember going out to the Harold's house several times he always put a smile on your face.  Prayers to you and your family.

Dear Jill,

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.  They keep us going.

I remember Don and I know that Dad held him in high regard.  It seemed they had good times together.  I think they have most probably renewed their friendship in Heaven.
