Laura Mae Herman, 84, of East Fallowfield, passed away on December 1, 2017, in Honey Brook.  She was the wife of Ernest E. Herman Jr.  Born in Coatesville she was the daughter of the late Fred and Jennie Hadley White.

Laura was a member of the Olivet Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, and was a member of the Chris Penn Chapter Eastern Star.  She retired as an Insurance Clerk at Lukens Steel Company and she also worked as an Avon Representative.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Robert A. Herman and wife, Kathy of Kinzers, and Cynthia Collison and husband, Andy, of Gap, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a brother Fred White of Havertown.  She was preceded in death by four siblings and grandchildren, Eddie and Chris.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday, December 8, 2017, at 11:00am from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg. Internment at Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 until 11:00.
