Larry L. Stirling, 73, of Parkesburg, passed away on Saturday, March 18th at his home, surrounded by his family.  He was the beloved husband of Betty Lou (Walton) Stirling, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.  

Born in Coatesville, Larry was the son of the late Jeanette (Brown) and James M. Stirling, Sr. 

A Parkesburg resident for 54 years, he was a 1962 graduate of Octorara High School.  He worked as a Car Blocker at Lukens and later Arcelor Mittal of Coatesville. 

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his four children: Kimberly Castetter, wife of Tim, of Narvon, Kevin Stirling, husband of Stacey, of Cochranville, David Stirling, husband of Ann, of Gap, Daniel Stirling, husband of Kristy, of Parkesburg; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and siblings, Lois Rubincam, James Stirling, Jeanette Zych and Thomas Stirling.  

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 11 AM at Parkesburg United Methodist Church, 411 Main St, Parkesburg, PA 19365, followed by interment in Glen Run Cemetery of Atglen.  The viewing will be from 10 until 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry's memory to either Parkesburg United Methodist Church at the above address, or Heartland Hospice, 5 Christy Drive, Suite 103, Chadds Ford, PA 19317.

i was deeply sadden to hear of Mr Stirling's passing. I would hang out at their home many days throughout my high school years living on the 500 block of 1st Avenue in Parkesburg.
